Beet Orange and Banana Smoothie Recipe
INGREDIENTS (serves 2)
1 small-medium raw red beet (peeled and diced or quartered)
2 oranges, peeled
1-2 frozen bananas
a handful of greens (kale, chard, or spinach)
1 cup coconut water
1/2 inch fresh ginger, peeled (optional)
For a sweeter taste, replace coconut water with fresh orange juice.
1. Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender.*
2. Blend on high until completely smooth. Add additional water if necessary.
3. Serve right away. Enjoy!
*If not using a high-powered blender, finely grate or steam the beets making them easier for blending.
