The red color from beets and strawberries signifies a deep connection to love (hence the heart design). It’s no wonder that the beautiful red beet that stains its way to your kitchen table is filled with antioxidants that promote healthy hearts. The red pigment from beets is part of the “betalain” family of antioxidants, and this beautiful pigment helps balance blood pressure, increase circulation, and lower heart disease. Berries and beets are also high in Vitamin C, so this heart-healthy and immunity-boosting smoothie bowl is a real nutritious treat for the family!
