INGREDIENTS (serves 1-2, depending on glassware size)

  • 2-3 red beets

  • 2 apples (pink lady or granny for a more tart taste)

  • 1 inch fresh ginger

  • 1/2 lime

DIRECTIONS

  1. Gently wash beets, apples, ginger and lime. Use organic produce if possible.

  2. Quarter or cube apples and beets (you can keep the skins on if washed well).

  3. Add beets, apples, and ginger to the juicer. We like to juice beets first, and then add the ginger and apple at the end as apple has the most liquid.

  4. Squeeze lime into juice.

  5. Mix well (removing the froth if preferred).

  6. Pour over ice or drink straight from the juicer.

  7. Enjoy! Fresh juice will last a few days in the fridge if sealed. Typically, we drink within a day!
